Ohio junior could be closer to offers

Junior offensive lineman Adam Pankey of Hamilton (Oh.) recently completed an extremely successful season, and is now hoping that it will translate to more recruiting success. Leading the way is one ACC school, which may be close to pulling the trigger with an offer.
"Recruiting is very good," said Pankey. "I'm still waiting on offers, but I'm thinking that I'm going to get some these next two weeks. Schools are starting to come to the school this week and next and NC State is showing a lot of interest. Their offensive line coach is coming to talk to me this week, and I went down there for an unofficial."

Pankey gave a few thoughts about his unofficial to NC State.
"It was good," he said. "The people were nice and everyone was showing me a lot of love. It was when they played Wake Forest."
Aside from NC State, a number of Big Ten schools are also expressing interest.
"Indiana, Ohio State came and watched me and some other recruits when we played Colerain, and also Iowa and Wisconsin," said Pankey.
Pankey also took visits this fall to both Indiana and Cincinnati, and is hoping to visit a few more schools soon.
"Wisconsin has invited me to games, but I just couldn't make it up there, and I really want to visit Iowa too," said Pankey.
This fall, Pankey lined up at offensive tackle for Hamilton.
"I had a great season," he said. "I got First Team All-League, First Team All-County, First Team All-City, and Second Team All-Southwest Ohio."
