Ohio DT holds six offers

Youngstown (Ohio) Liberty defensive tackle Chris Harrison has picked up a handful of offers from the MAC among other conferences.
The 6-foot-4, 265-pounder has offers from schools including Toledo, Bowling Green, Miami (Ohio), Ohio, Cincinnati and Youngstown State. Do any of the offers stand out?

"I haven't been to Cincinnati for a visit yet, but I like them a lot," he said. "I really like the offer from them, but I don't totally know why I like them."
This summer Harrison took in visits to Kent State, Toledo, Bowling Green, Penn State, Michigan and Pittsburgh.
"I liked Pittsburgh a lot because it reminded me of Youngstown," he said. "I liked the facilities and coaches there too. They all seemed really good to me."
Without any favorites, what is the lineman looking for in a school?
"I'm looking for good coaches and a nice environment at the school," he said. "I also want good academics and a solid football team."
Harrison also has no idea when a decision may come on his commitment.
"I'll probably just wait until the end of the season, but it'll be whenever it feels right. I just want to see what all my offers are."
Next up for the lineman are two more visits to Cincinnati and Syracuse.
"I just want to check out the campuses and get to know the coaches a little bit better on the visits," he said. "I also want to check out and see what the schools are all about."
Last season Harrison recorded seven sacks as he was named all-conference. Next year the lineman is looking to improve his game.
"I've got to get stronger and use my hands more so that I can take on the blocks better," he said. "I think those things will help me be more dominant on the defensive line and then I can just help the team out more."
