Akron (Ohio) Hoban defensive end Ryan Thompson is back from the West Coast. Is a decision coming soon?
"I'm thinking about a decision soon, but I'm not sure yet," said the 6-foot-4, 240-pounder. "Stanford was really nice, the area and the people out there. I got sick when I got out there, but I still had a good time."

Thompson also visited Boston College and could make his decision as early as Wednesday.
"It could happen, but I don't know," he said. "BC head coach Tom O'Brien and coach Don Horton are coming to my house on Wednesday and I could decide then. Otherwise, Stanford comes in later in the week."
The Eagles have the slight edge right now.
"It's a two day trip out to Stanford pretty much," he said. "The flight is five hours and with all the security it takes like eight hours to get there. It's a factor, but I still liked it out there."
