Ohio DE names favorite

After his sophomore year at Kettering (Ohio) Alter, defensive end Rob Trigg transferred to Dayton Chaminade-Julienne and had a great junior season. The 6-foot-3 and 230-pound Trigg was an all-conference and all-district selection.
Recruiters have had no problem finding Trigg at his new school.

"Cincinnati and Pitt have offered," Trigg said. "Pitt was a verbal offer through my coach. Cincinnati was written and verbal."
Trigg said he is definitely interested in the Panthers and Bearcats, but also has several Big Ten schools in mind including Ohio State.
"I went to a Michigan State junior day," Trigg said. "And I went to a Purdue junior day. And I went to the Ohio State-Northwestern football game. I'm looking at those three."
Trigg is mapping out his spring and summer plans.
"I'm going to the NIKE Camp at Ohio State May 5," he said. "I'm thinking about the Michigan State camp and maybe the Purdue camp."
Though the Spartans have not offered a scholarship to this point, as of now MSU is the team to beat.
"Michigan State is my favorite," Trigg said. "I like the atmosphere there. I like the coaching staff."
