Ohio DE has three offers

Portsmouth, Ohio, weakside defensive end/tight end Tyler Clifford is one of the top players in the state of Ohio for the Class of 2005. If you have any doubts about that, then check out his impressive resume of early scholarship offers.
“I have offers from Toledo, Kent State and Ohio U,” Clifford, who is 6-foot-4 and 212 pounds, said. “My other top teams are Ohio State, Iowa, Michigan State, Indiana and Cincinnati.”

Clifford was a first-team all-Southeast Ohio District and first-team Division four all-state performer as a junior. He racked up 81 solo tackles, seven sacks and seven pass break-ups. He also had a 16.6 yard per catch average as a tight end.
“I’m relentless,” Clifford said. “I go all out on every play.”
Clifford hasn’t decided on where he plans to camp this summer, but he’s thought about a few things that he’ll be looking for when it comes time to make a decision.
“I want to look at the overall football program,” he said. “The academics are also going to be important. I will also look at the stability of the coaching staff.”
Clifford said he grew up following Michigan, Toledo and Marshall.
