Ohio DB has five offers
Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville all-purpose back Tim Conner is keeping his options open at this point as he continues to attend camps and attract more offers.
Conner currently lists his top schools as Ohio State, Purdue, Pittsburgh, Akron, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan State and Ball State. The 5-foot-11, 179-pound junior has the flexibility to play tailback, cornerback, and return kicks on special teams.
“I plan on attending a lot of camps this summer. I like all those schools on my list because they have good programs and also provide good academics. I want to play football and I’m also interested in pursuing a career in sports medicine.”
Conner has five offers on the table from Pittsburgh, Akron, Central Michigan, Western Michigan and Bowling Green. He expects more offers to surface as he continues to work hard and the season approaches.
“I don’t have a preference on where coaches intend to play me. Being on the field is the most important thing. I love to play, whether it’s on offense, defense or returning kicks.”
Despite weighing 179 pounds, Conner has shown the ability to break tackles and pull away from defenders.
As a junior Conner averaged eight yards-per-carry.
