Ohio CB Makes A Commitment
Cleveland (Ohio) St. Ignatius cornerback Tony Gonzalez says he will formally announce a commitment to Ohio State on Monday when he returns to school from spring break.
Gonzalez, 6-foot-0 and 187 pounds, runs a 4.37 40-yard dash. He helped lead St. Ignatius to the big school state championship during his junior season.
Gonzalez made 53 tackles and picked off six passes. He also caught 42 passes for 1012 yards. Gonzalez also had scholarship offers from Boston College, Louisville, Maryland, Oklahoma State, and Miami of Ohio. Other schools showing interest included Notre Dame, Michigan, Northwestern, and Virginia.
