Ohio athlete adds Big 10 offer

To get an early scholarship offer from Northwestern, you not only have to be a good player, but you have to be an excellent student athlete. The good thing for Lisbon (Ohio) David Anderson athlete Vincent Browne is that he falls into both categories.
Brown is a 6-foot-5, 250-pounder that can do it all at a number of different positions. He plays on both sides of the football and could easily project at linebacker, tight end, defensive linemen or offensive linemen even though most schools see him along the defensive line somewhere.

"We just received word of the Northwestern offer," Browne's father, Ed, said.
"We're not sure if it's going to go to the school or to us at home, but we're very excited about it."
In the e-mail about the offer from Northwestern tight end/fullback coach Adam Cushing, he said Browne was a "heck of a player and could be a difference maker in our program."
Browne will participate in the NIKE Training Camp in Columbus, Ohio, on May 5. Browne has also been linked with several other Big 10 and MAC schools.
