Oguntodu is down to three

Mesquite (Texas) Horn safety Olaitan Oguntodu has taken three official visits to date and is looking at possibly taking one more. The last team to potentially get a visit from the 6-foot-1, 200-pounder has come on strong recently and he's looking at possibly visiting them this weekend.
"I'm looking at UTEP a lot and considering a visit this weekend, but the coach has gotten back to me yet," he said. "I like that they are a winning program because I want to go somewhere they are winning and have that attitude. I also like the way the defensive coordinator gets after it and runs an aggressive style of defense."

Oklahoma State and Kansas continue to lead for Oguntodu's services as UTEP trails behind a little bit.
"I like Kansas because they have a law school and I'm planning to go into that," he said. "Meanwhile, I like Oklahoma State because they are turning things around and starting to compete like they used to. It would be nice to be a part of either one of those programs."
Previously Boston College and Duke were being heavily considered by the three-star prospect. What caused him to drop them from his list?
"Both of them needed to fill other positions and wanted me at linebacker. I'd rather play safety," he said. "Also things are going on in my life, so it would be nice to be only an hour flight to get back home. There were a lot of different things that went into it that cancelled them out."
With only one more visit to go, when is Oguntodo looking to decide?
"I couldn't tell you exactly when I'll decide, but I shuold know in a few weeks," he said. "It'll be sometime most likely before Christmas."
