OG Tense draws his second offer

Oak Park (Ill.) Fenwick state ranked offensive guard prospect Panan Tense (6-foot-4, 324 pounds) was on the road heading back to his home when he decided to call and check in with another school. Turns out that Tense made the right call on Wednesday afternoon, landing his second scholarship this summer.
"I was on the road heading back from the Western Michigan one day camp," Tense said. "So I decided to check in with the coaches at Northern Illinois. They told me to stay in touch with them this summer and NIU has offered me a scholarship."

Tense is thrilled to add his second offer from the Huskies.
"I'm just very excited about getting this latest offer from NIU. Northern Illinois has been a great program in the MAC, and I'm just very impressed with head coach Joe Novak and all of the coaches at NIU. They offer a great education as well as a very strong football program. I really liked offensive line coach Sam Pittman at the NIU camp earlier this summer. He seems like a great coach to work with on a daily basis. I like NIU a lot no question and I'm thrilled to get an offer from the Huskies. They are just a blue-collar/hard working team, and that's me personality-wise."
Tense also enjoyed his one-day camp experience on Wednesday at Western Michigan.
"It was a small group of kids, about 20-25 kids at the most. I guess Western Michigan is running a bunch of one-day camps back to back, so it makes it easier to fit them into your schedule this summer. I was the only offensive lineman at the camp, so I got plenty of work today. Western Michigan has great facilities and a great looking campus, and I also got along with the coaches very well. It was a good camp for me overall.
Tense is planning to wrap up his summer camps next Monday.
"I'm just about finished with the college camps. I'm planning to check out a one-day camp on Monday at Wisconsin."
