OG Greene is ready to camp

Three-star offensive guard Steve Greene continues to hold five scholarships from schools across the country. The 6-foot-4, 302-pounder is looking to get his name out there even further by hitting up a few camps in the next couple months.
"Right now I have five total offers from Connecticut, Minnesota, Temple, UCF and Delaware," he said. "A lot of places want me to go down to their camps. It's impossible to get to the all since everyone wants me to go.

"I do think I'm going to go to Maryland, Virginia and Vanderbilt. I plan to go to Maryland on June 20th, Virginia June 21st and Vanderbilt on July 20th."
Greene has a handful of visits coming up. What does he want to see on these trips?
"I'm thinking about majoring in kinesiology, so I want to see they have a good program," he stated. "I want a nice place where I feel comfortable too. I don't expect to go in right away and play. I want to find the right system with good coaches."
Already the No. 41 offensive guard in the nation claims on offer stands out over the rest.
"Out of my five offers I'm favoring Connecticut," he said. "I visited them and their facilities are beautiful. Plus, their kinesiology program is No. 1 in the nation."
As for a decision, Greene could make one soon.
"In a perfect world I'd do it by the end of July or early August," he said. "I'd also like to wait it out to see what happens at the end of my senior season and take officials."
