OG Flowers gaining interest

Recruiting is heating up for prospects at Mallard Creek in Charlotte, N.C. Offensive guard Devin Flowers is just one of many seeing their recruiting picking up drastically.
"Right now there are a bunch of schools interested, Georgia Tech, UCF and South Carolina," he said. "Georgia Tech is real interested. Their recruiter told me he really liked my film and wants to see more of me when he comes to the school.

"UCF really likes me a lot and are coming next week too. South Carolina is saying similar things. I'm also getting interest from Wake Forest, Maryland and East Carolina."
With interest growing, does Flowers like anybody?
"I like them all, but I guess I do have a top four," he said. "Georgia Tech, South Carolina is up there, Clemson and UCF.
"I haven't been down to UCF, but the other schools I liked when I visited them. Clemson, I really like the tradition at Death Valley. That's really cool and they are big rivals with South Carolina. Both of those teams put 80,000 people in the stands. With Georgia Tech, I really like the coaching staff. I really feel right when I'm there. For UCF, the coaches seem really sincere and I am going to go down there this summer."
Flowers earned all-county, all-conference and all-Charlotte Observer as a junior in 2009.
A versatile athlete, Flowers earned all-conference in wrestling this past season as well.
