Rochester (N.Y.) Eastridge offensive guard Alexander Officer hasn't taken any official visits yet but he has scheduled his first.
That first visit will be to Pittsburgh on December 7.
"I'm probably going to try to visit Louisville and a couple more," Officer added. "I'm not really sure. Louisville will be one I want to take."
Why did the 6-foot-4, 300-pound guard decide he wanted to visit Pitt?
"I really like the coaches. I like the coaching staff they have now. I feel like Pitt could be a really good place for me to go to college. I've been up there a couple of times," he said.
"The coaches at Louisville are real good too. They've got a good program. They're having a pretty good season so far."
Syracuse is one school that has been recruiting Officer hard for a while. When asked whether he still has interest in the Orange , Officer seemed to pause before answering yes.
"I'm not really sure about Syracuse," he said. "They're still one of my top schools."
Officer would only say that he will make his decision before Signing Day and after his official visits. He said that he has offers from both Pitt and Louisville.
