LOGANVILLE, Ga. — Recruiting is really getting going for 2019 wide receiver Kenyon Jackson. The 6-foot-6, 195 pound wide receiver out of Grayson picked up offer No. 1 from LSU January 19, but he had to wait over three months for the next offer to come.

Georgia offered last week and since the in-state offer came, he has added offers from Florida, Kentucky and Louisville. Plenty of other schools have been out to watch Jackson work at spring practice and he will add more offers likely before this week comes to an end.

He feels good about where his recruitment is.

"Coaches are coming at me now, coaches want me to stay in touch with them and it is just about the hard work me and my team are putting in," said Jackson. "There is a lot of great competition here, coaches see that and it is good to start getting offers."

LSU was the first school to offer the towering wideout and that was a big one — a very big one.

"Yes, it was my first offer, so that was cool, but LSU was my dream school growing up, so that made it even better. My first time there was for their spring game and I had a great time.

"I really like the fans at LSU. I was there for the spring game and they were always into the game, they supported the team and it was great. I also got to see the campus, watch practice, sit in on meetings and I loved it all. Everything at LSU was great."

Out of the schools that have offered, the only other one Jackson has visited is Georgia. The UGA coaches want to get the talented wideout back in Athens (Ga.).

"I have visited Georgia a couple of times, but I have not been there since they offered me," said Jackson. "I have talked to coach [James] Coley (wide receivers) over the phone and likes me a lot. He wants me to visit them again as soon as I can.

"Georgia is a good school and coach Coley seems like a cool guy. They have a good crowd too."

Jackson will likely visit Georgia over the summer, but the Bulldogs have some catching up to do if they want to be a big player in his recruitment. Two other SEC schools are at the top of his list.

"LSU would have to be my early favorite," said Jackson. "I have always liked LSU, they offered me first and they are high on my list. After LSU, it would be Ole Miss. I love how both of those schools produce big receivers like me and they would be on top for me right now."

No offer from Ole Miss yet, but the Rebels have started to show interest. Alabama, North Carolina, Oregon State, South Carolina and Tennessee are some other schools showing interest in Jackson.
