Offers start to roll for Bodine

Fork Union (Va.) Fork Union Military Academy offensive center Russell Bodine acquired his first offer not too long ago. The 6-foot-4, 278-pounder is now up to three scholarships. Who has he pulled offers from to date?
"I actually have three offers from New Hampshire, Marshall and North Carolina," he said. "I picked up North Carolina two weeks ago when I took a visit there. Then New Hampshire and Marshall offered recently.

"It's kind of nice getting offers, it's a little less stress on me."
Bodine went on about his recent trip to Chapel Hill.
"North Carolina was really nice," he said. "I had never been down there before. I'm going back down to see spring practice this weekend. I'm also going to do a Duke recruiting visit.
"The staff at North Carolina on my visit was really down to earth and personable. It was definitely one of the nicest places I've been and the stadium is nice too. It's good that it's in the ACC, I kind of want to stay in the ACC because it's close so my parents can see me play."
Bodine touched on his Marshall offer as well.
"I've been down there and we'll see. I think I'll go to their spring game and check it out."
While offers are coming, Bodine maintains no favorites.
"I don't really have favorites," he said. "I'll probably try to wait and go on visits. I did really like it at North Carolina not just because it was first and in the ACC, but I have family down there, a cousin that works for NC State and an aunt that went to Wake Forest."
