Offers start for NC tailback

Offers are coming in for one prospect in North Carolina. The 6-foot-0, 200-pounder pulled his second scholarship late last week, his first from a Division I program.
"Wisconsin offered me a full ride on Thursday night," Winston-Salem (N.C.) Parkland running back Chris Hairston said. "I already had an offer from Winston-Salem State last summer.

"The offer from Wisconsin is good. I don't know a lot about them, but I'm thinking about going out there for a visit to see how the campus is and talk to the coaches more. It's pretty far away from home."
Recently Hairston visited Duke for junior day and plans to head to North Carolina on the 27th.
"Duke was good, I liked it. I'm really interested," he said. "I like how they are expanding their football program. They are building and adding on to their stadium. They are also really strict on the education."
A solid student, Hairston boasts a 3.2 GPA.
With recruiting rising, Hairston is looking for a few things in a college.
"I'm looking for a good football program, a nice campus and somewhere I feel comfortable at," he stated. "I want a place that takes care of me and a school that has everything I need."
Hairston posted approximately 1,100-yards rushing this past season.
He is also an acclaimed track athlete that came in sixth in the city in the 100-meter dash and placed with his 4x1 team at states.
