Offers start coming for DC two-sport star

One of Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga College's top prospects already committed to Maryland recently in offensive guard A.J. Francis. The school is home to two more top talents, one of which is 6-foot-4, 220-pound athlete Cameron Johnson.
"He already has offers from Maryland, Duke and Virginia," Gonzaga head coach Kenny Lucas said. "Those are the three football offers he's got so far. There's the potential for a few more to come in soon too. I know Pittsburgh has been inquiring about him and have expressed sincere interest."

Does Johnson have any favorites?
"I'm not sure he does," Lucas said. "He's a very good basketball player too averages 15-points a game. I'm not sure if the opportunity to play both was afforded that may be what he takes. He doesn't seem to be leaning one way or another."
According to Lucas, his star prospect could play a number of positions in college.
"He's a very athletic kid that could play linebacker, defensive back or wide receiver," he said. "Personally I think he'll make the move down to outside linebacker. He has the potential to put on more size and weight or he could drop a bit and move to rover. He's just a very athletic kid that knows the game of football. He's always in position to make plays.
"As far as a person, he's a pleasant individual that is quiet and reserved. He does a lot more with his actions than with his mouth. He's also a good student."
