Offers rolling in for Washington TE

It's looking like a deep year for tight end talent in the West region this year and one player we like a lot out of the Northwest is Auburn-Riverside (Wash.) athlete David Paulson. Paulson had a great showing at the NIKE Camp at Stanford and has picked up some big time scholarship offers in the last few weeks.
Paulson, 6-3, 225 pounds has a solid frame and is a very good athlete. He tested very well at the NIKE Camp clocking a 4.72-40, 4.30 shuttle and did 20 reps on the bench. He also looked good in the position drills catching the ball and used his athleticism to get open with ease all camp long.

As a junior, Paulson caught 35 balls for 374 yards and seven touchdowns and added 43 tackles and two sacks on defense but tight end is definitely where the athlete projects in college.
Paulson has been all over the camp circuit this spring and summer and has camped with Cal, Oregon, Washington, Oregon State, Stanford and Arizona State.
"David has six offers now," Paulson's mother Kristi said. "The most recent offer came from Washington last Friday after David camped there on Thursday. We received the written offer on Saturday. Cal and Oregon also offered after David attended their camps and Oregon State, Idaho and Eastern Washington had all previously offered. Right now, David doesn't have a favorite school and is open to all those schools who are showing him interest."
In addition to the schools mentioned, Arizona State and Michigan are also showing interest in Paulson. Academically, the tight end is solid as well carrying a 3.9 GPA with a 1720 on the SAT.
