Offers rolling in for Tuioti-Mariner

As we expected, things are really start to heat up for Corona (Calif.) offensive lineman Max Tuioti-Mariner. The talented guard prospect has seen his offer list rise to six and that could double in the next week as his film was just sent out.
Tuioti-Mariner, 6-4, 300 pounds is easily among the nation’s top line prospects this year and no worse than top five in the state right now. He might be the most physical OL we’ve seen on film and his size, athleticism and mean streak all project very well in college.
Colorado was the first to offer Tuioti-Mariner halfway through his junior season. Mississippi and BYU soon followed and now the offers are starting to roll in.

“I just sent his film out and every school that has received it has offered or said they’re going to offer,” Corona coach John Brandom said. “I have them in writing from Oregon, Oregon State and Arizona. They all called up and offered the day they watched the tape and I have the letters as well.
“UCLA verbally offered and said they’re just waiting on transcripts. Max is taking a couple of Language Arts classes over and once he does that, he’ll be good to go. Notre Dame called and gave a verbal offer along with Miami and Alabama. ASU just asked for more film on him but said he basically has an offer from them right now
“I just sent film to Ohio State, LSU, Michigan and USC and I would be shocked if they didn’t all offer. Max is just that good- I would love to talk to any college who watches his film and doesn’t offer and ask them what exactly are they looking for because Max is so dominant.
“He’ll be the best player I’ve ever coached and we have players that sign every year from here. As for favorites, Max really doesn’t have a clue right now about that. I just asked him where he wanted to go and his response was, ‘I don’t know.’ I asked him again and said, ‘Max, you can go anywhere you want, who do you like,’ and he proceeded to name about every school in the country.
“I think he’ll definitely take his trips before he makes his decision. He needs to see what is out there because he has never really been anywhere other than here and Hawaii.”
