Offers rolling in for Kinsey

Miami (Fla.) Gulliver Prep linebacker Darran Kinsey has picked up several new scholarship offers and new interest from multiple programs this summer. He recently spoke with Rivals.com about all the recent happenings and what schools currently are out in front.
"This summer, Minnesota, Michigan State, Kansas State and Florida International all have offered," the 6-foot-1, 235-pound Kinsey said. "Also, when I go up to Michigan State on July 15, Michigan wants me to stop by their campus as well so I can meet all of their coaches and they are going to see about an offer.

"I talked to Wisconsin last night, too. They are trying to get me and another kid from Chicago."
Previously, Kinsey held scholarship offers from Auburn, Central Florida and a verbal offer from Miami (Fla.).
"I'm supposed to be going up to Auburn next week, too, so I can meet their coaches," Kinsey said. "I haven't met all of them, just coach Eddie Gran my recruiting coach."
Kinsey currently has the Tigers in his top four.
"Right now, it's Miami, Minnesota, Michigan and Auburn (no order)," Kinsey said. "Michigan State, Kansas State, Michigan and Minnesota are recruiting me the hardest."
Central Florida also remains a factor.
"The thing about UCF is that they are going to be the program down the road," he said. "I mean, by the time I get out of college, UCF will be a great program."
Kinsey plans on making several visits to college campuses this fall for football games.
"I hope to go to Michigan State for the Ohio State or the Notre Dame game," he said. "With Miami, I hope to go to all of the home games. With Michigan, I hope to go to the Michigan State game, but I really haven't decided yet.
"I haven't decided on a game for Auburn or Wisconsin."
Kinsey won't be making an early decision.
"I got a thing in the mail to make my announcement on (television)," Kinsey said. "So I am going to do it on Signing Day or three weeks before."
Kinsey is a three-star rated prospect and is the No. 72 overall prospect in the Rivals.com Florida Top 100.
