THE LATEST: Jacolby George doesn’t have the same massive offer list or the same name recognition as some other South Florida-based wide receivers, but that may change in short order. The Plantation (Fla.) High School wideout is coming off of a monster spring capped by an impressive performance in front of college coaches at his team’s jamboree. From there, things began to shake. A class-of-2021 prospect, George clearly has the talent to help most Power Five programs, and everyone is starting to take notice. Below, George discusses his recent offers and names an early leader.

IN HIS WORDS

ON HIS CURRENT LEADER:

“So far, it’s Kentucky for sure. They stand out to me. They are the one I like the most out of the ones I have."

ON KENTUCKY:

“I’m still learning more, but I like what I know. I know that they get people to the NFL. That’s important. And It’s cool there … I heard.”

ON VISITING KENTUCKY:

"I haven’t been there yet, but I’m going to. I’m for sure going to get up there during my junior year."

ON OTHER SCHOOLS IN FREQUENT CONTACT:

"Syracuse coach talks to me a lot, The NC State coach was here this spring and he really liked me. They offered. I’m learning about them too. Indianan and Minnesota actually just offered me after watching [the spring game."

ON INDIANA AND MINNESOTA:

"I don’t know a lot about either because I, like, just got the offers."

ON HIS DREAM OFFER:

“My favorite school is Clemson. I’ve liked them since I was in middle school, but they haven't reached out or anything.”
