Offers rolling in for Bailey

Earlier in the month running back/wide receiver Daniel Bailey had six offers. He's now sitting on nine and a tenth is probably on the way. Has he narrowed his list?
"I'm looking at Syracuse, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Clemson and Marshall the hardest," said Bailey. "Pitt has said they're going to offer me soon and the other four already have. Other than those schools I have offers from West Virginia, Wake Forest, Kansas State, Ohio and Akron."

While he may not be physically imposing, the 5-foot-7, 170-pound running back/receiver from Clifton (Va.) Centreville has the skills necessary to make big contributions at the next level. Speed is the key to his game and he runs the the 40-yard dash in a legit 4.4 seconds. Bailey visited five schools this summer -- Penn State, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Pitt. Which trips did he like the best?
"Penn State really has a family atmosphere. It's not too far away and a cousin of mine starts at receiver for them. The players and coaches are just great. That was a really good trip. I found out Syracuse would be a great fit for me because they can offer playing time. Their starters at receiver are both seniors this year, and next year their top two guys will be seniors. Their leading receiver last year was Jamel Riddle, and he's only 5-foot-7. Plus I really like the Carrier Dome a lot.
"I had a really good visit to Pitt also. It's a great school and an up-and-coming program. Their coaches would get me on the field early playing special teams and they could also use me at receiver. They have some great coaches."
Bailey attended camps at Penn State and Virginia Tech and would have camped at Pitt, UVA and Syracuse had it not been for a leg injury. A decision might not be too far off for the speedster.
"I would like to make my decision before the start of my senior season. That's pretty soon, but I'm almost ready to finish this up."
Last year Bailey had just 110 carries but rushed for 1,500 yards and 23 touchdowns.
