Offers rolling in for 2021 3-star East St. Louis WR Keontez Lewis
The city of St. Louis continues to churn out top-notch football talent on a yearly basis and one of the up and coming talents in the city is three-star Class of 2021 wide receiver Keontez Lewis. The talented pass-catcher continues to add Power Five offers, with schools like Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota and others already on his list. With so much happening so quickly, Lewis is still getting used to things as a big-time prospect. Rivals.com caught up with him at the recent event The Show in Bradenton, Fla. to get the latest on his recruitment.
IN HIS WORDS
"I went to camps at Alabama, Indiana and Tennessee with my team in June. I have a few teammates committed to Tennessee and they really like it there so that's a school I'm hoping offers at some point. My most recent offers were from Minnesota, Kansas and Kent State. I got all three of them on the same day."
Kansas: "They can't call me yet so I'm still getting to know them and reaching out and stuff like that. I have been messaging the coaches on Twitter but they can't message back so I just need to make sure I'm calling them."
Nebraska: "They offered me and they really want to get me to camp. When I got that offer I really heard from their fans a lot. The have a big fan base. They were telling me how bad they want me up there. Coach Frost is a good coach and they are trying to build an exciting offense. They are recruiting a few guys from my area in my class, too."
