Offers roll in for 4-star Reed

L.J. Reed might be one of the top receivers in the 2015 class in California and many schools are already getting involved.
Elk Grove (Calif.) Cosumnes Oaks coach Ryan Gomes said it's been busy in the weeks leading up to National Signing Day and might only pick up from here.

"We've had Oregon, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, Washington State, USC, UCLA, Utah, you name it, we've had a ton of people in and they love him," Gomes said. "He's a freak.
"He has really good film and when you see him in person he's big, he's really big. He has really broad shoulders so you can tell he's going to carry his weight well. He's just a big guy and he's all of 6-foot-3. He's the real deal and now we just have to get it figured out academically."
So far, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound four-star receiver has landed offers from Arizona State, Colorado State, Eastern Washington, Idaho, UCLA, Washington and Washington State.
Academics will definitely be a major focus for Reed, rated as the No. 35 wide receiver in the 2015 class by Rivals.com, and Gomes said every program could get in the mix if Reed's grades improve.
"He'll have everybody in the country if he qualifies," Reed said. "Georgia has called, LSU has been out. There have been a lot of good programs coming by."
UCLA might have an edge. Cosumnes Oaks has sent players there in recent years and the Bruins' coaching staff has already developed a good relationship with Reed.
"It's way too early for (a leader) but I do know he has great relationships with UCLA," Reed said. "Coach (Eric) Yarber and Angus (McClure) were both at our basketball game recently watching (Alex Van Dyke). Yarber and Angus have a great relationship with him."
