Offers rise for RB Duncan

Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek running back Jela Duncan is gaining offers. The 5-foot-10, 190-pounder discussed his leader and what's next.
"Wake Forest, East Carolina, Duke, Wofford, Western Michigan and Gardner Webb have offered," he said. "I like them.

"I wouldn't say favorites now, but I like Duke. I've been up to Duke and that's the only one I've been to. It was pretty good. I'm interested in them a bit, cause Coach Cutcliffe and their staff are really nice people."
Duncan hopes to add more scholarships this summer by heading to camps.
"I'm going to the Duke camp in the coming weeks, then I've got North Carolina's camp and I'll probably go to Virginia Tech and Wake Forest," he said. "I'm hoping on these visits I just feel like I find somewhere that is like home, where I want to be and somewhere I want to play the next four years.
The Carolina tailback just wrapped up a Nike Camp on Saturday at Duke and gave his take on his showing.
"I went really well," he said. "There was a lot of competition out there and I felt like I did really well.
"I think I showed good speed and nice footwork."
Duncan accounted for 1,300-yards rushing and 17 touchdowns as a junior last year.
