Offers rise at Hargrave

It didn't take long for recruiting to pick up at Hargrave Military Academy. With the final game of the season this evening, offers are starting to pick up at the military school.
"A lot of colleges are coming in," Hargrave head coach Troy Davis said. "Tulane, Virginia Tech, Clemson, North Carolina, NC State, Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, Western Kentucky, Toledo, Syracuse, Connecticut, Memphis, Ohio, New Hampshire, Akron, Western Carolina, Bethune-Cookman, Monmouth, VMI, William & Mary, Texas Tech, Virginia, Kansas, Towson, Old Dominion and Temple have given a serious look.

What are all the schools saying?
"All of them plan to come back to our combine in December," he said. "They want to get the film back to coach and then let us know."
In recent weeks offers are starting to pick up.
"There are a few guys that have offers," he said. "Southern University came in and offered three linemen, Drew Wilkins, Robert Fitzgerald and Kevin Hart. Wilkins got an offer from Toledo and Ohio too.
"Taylor Fallin, an offensive lineman was offered by Memphis, while Constantine Giannopoulos was offered by Wagner, Cornell and Monmouth.
"Also, Frederick Ruff is getting a lot of interest. He didn't commit to Mississippi State and is now just waiting it out. Southern Cal mentioned he was a diamond in the rough. They are sitting and waiting."
It's not just offensive linemen getting offers though.
"Our quarterbacks Marcus McDade got an offer from Wyoming as well as Toledo. Brian Purnell also got Toledo and Akron.
"D.J. Williams, Doug Williams son got an offer from Middle Tennesse."
A few others landed offers too.
"Quinn McClendon got Akron and Miami (Ohio). Forrest Mason and James Smith got New Hampshire. James got an offer from Ohio as well. Also, Jimmy O'Grady is getting interest from Oklahoma State."
