Offers pouring in for Cali WR

One of the hottest wide outs in the West region right now is Etiwanda (Calif.) standout Marvin Jones. It seems the receiver picks up a new offer every day and is now sitting on six offers and said five schools stand out to him at this time.
Jones, 6-3, 180 pounds has been one of the state's top pass catchers since he was a sophomore. After a huge junior season and a great showing at the SoCal NIKE camp, you could make a strong argument for Jones being one of the top two or three pass catchers in the state this coming season.

As a junior, Jones earned 1st team all-state underclass honors after catching 63 balls for 1,300 yards and 12 touchdowns. He added 75 tackles and five picks on defense and could easily play safety in college but we really like his upside as a receiver.
Jones has good size, runs well and is very smooth. He does a nice of adjusting to the ball in the air, runs well after the catch and is a tough, physical player. He basically does everything well and has a lot of upside at the next level.
On the recruiting front, Oregon State, Arizona and Colorado were early offers and you can add three more to that list.
"Cal, ASU and San Diego State are my most recent ones," Jones said. "San Diego State is my latest and Oregon is close to offering as well. I'm not in any hurry to make a decision though, I want to take all my visits before I commit anywhere.
"Right now, my top five would be Cal, Oregon, Oregon State, Arizona and UCLA. I'm not hearing as much from UCLA or USC but I'm still interested in both. I just kind of think they might be set at receiver already because of the lack of interest I'm getting from them right now."
