Offers piling up for RB Robinson

Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt is a very well known program from central Pennsylvania. Notable alums include former five-star defensive end Noah Spence and LeSean McCoy. It looks like the next star at Bishop McDevitt could be Andre Robinson. Robinson, a running back, is getting close to ten offers. One of his most recent offers is from Virginia Tech.
"Virginia Tech offered around the time Andrew Ford committed there," said the 5-foot-10, 190-pound Robinson. "Andrew and I have been friends since we played pee wee football together. I talked to the offensive line coach and he offered me.

"I think Virginia Tech is a good program," he said. "Those guys have been there for a while and I think that power offense would work well for me. It's not too far from home and I like it down there."
Robinson mentioned he is hearing from Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Virginia. Spence, Robinson's former teammate, is a rising star at Ohio State but Robinson isn't sure that's where he'll end up.
"I like Ohio State," Robinson said. "Coach Meyer is definitely a great coach and they are going to have some great teams in the next couple of years but I don't know if their offense really fits me. I'd like to be in more of a power offense."
Robinson's early offers have started to attract other suitors.
"The next school to offer me could possibly be Notre Dame or maybe Michigan," he said. "I'm going out to Notre Dame soon so we'll see what happens."
Robinson would like to make his decision at the end of next spring.
