One of the top wide receiver prospects in the region, if not the country, is shaping up to be Leonte Carroo of Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep. Carroo continues to pile up the offers, but is also taking the slow road with his recruiting process.

"Recruiting has moved along a lot," said Carroo, who is now 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds. "I got a lot of new offers."
While Carroo could not remember all of his new offers, he did mention Michigan, Wisconsin, Notre Dame and Central Florida as being some of his most recent. As with most Don Bosco Prep prospects, Carroo is taking a wait and see approach with his process.
"I'm pretty much open with every school," said Carroo. "It feels great that the offers are coming in and I'm enjoying the recruiting process."
Carroo did take a visit to Rutgers this weekend, but aside from that he does not have anything further scheduled.
"I don't have any visits planned," said Carroo. "I want to pick out my top five schools that I like first, but I don't know when I'll do that."
When he finally hits the recruiting road, Carroo will be looking for a few specific things in a school and program.
"I'm looking for great coaches, a great education, good football and a great incoming class," said Carroo.
The jersey receiver also mentioned that he is unlikely to attend any events or summer camps this year.
