Offers pile up for 2015 RB Samuel

Offers have piled up for 2015 running back Traveon Samuel out of Phenix City (Ala.) Central. The 5-foot-7, 166-pounder is claiming 17 offers at this point along with four leaders.
"I've got offers from Auburn, Florida State, Jacksonville State, USF, UAB, Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Duke, Tennessee, Washington State, LSU, Mississippi State, California, South Carolina, Minnesota and Louisiana-Lafayette," he said. "I got a lot of them at the end of my sophomore year and since."

According to Samuel, four stand out.
"My top four are Alabama, Auburn, Florida State and Clemson," he said. "Alabama is my dream school. They are a winning program and even though they are not my style of football, I run the spread, it's my dream school and where I wanted to go growing up.
"Auburn fits my style. I like the coaches there too. They are very similar to Florida State and Clemson, they run the spread, but they all have different atmospheres and coaches."
Samuel has taken visits this fall to three of the four schools, Alabama for the LSU game, Auburn for the Arkansas State game and Florida State for the Miami game.
"I loved the atmosphere at Florida State," he said. "It was pretty crazy up there.
"Alabama playing LSU was a good game and good atmosphere. Everybody was into the game and the fans were behind them. For Auburn, I've been there a few times and it's not too far from home. I like the atmosphere."
Wherever he goes, Samuel wants a few things in his choice.
"First off, I'm looking for a good education. I want to major in business management," he said. "I want somewhere I'm comfortable with and I'd like to get a little playing time as a freshman."
Though teams are focusing on him this season, Samuel has still put up 20 touchdowns.
"I felt the same out there, it's just a lot harder with double and triple teams," he said. "Teams are keying on me and it's harder to get something going."
