Offers are picking up for Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson defensive end De'Jon Wilson. The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder landed three offers this week. Who are the latest teams to pull the trigger?
"Michigan State offered on Tuesday and Illinois and Buffalo offered on Wednesday," he said. "Illinois has been recruiting H.D. Woodson since I was little. My cousin Joelil Thrash went to Illinois as did Tavon Wilson. What I know they are a good program and it's a great school.
"Buffalo is a great school also. The program is nice and I like the defense. They want me to come in as an outside linebacker; it's a great chance for me.
"It was a great feeling getting the Michigan State offer. I've met with their defensive line coach, Coach Gill and it's great. I like them; they recognize I'm a baller. I know they went from Cincinnati four years ago and they have turned that program around to 11-2 last year. I think they have 20 plus players in the NFL so it's just a great school."
Wilson confirmed plans to take some visits, but noted he doesn't have anything set up at this time.
Does he like anybody?
"I like all the schools, but I'm just keeping my options open," he said. "I want to thank all the schools that have offered me."
Wilson added that he plans to head a few places for camp.
"I know I'm going to Virginia Tech on June 4th, I'm trying to hit Michigan and Michigan State, Marshall for camp, Miami for camp and Wake Forest."
