Offers mount for Beilinson

Offers continue to pile up for Cary (N.C.) Panther Creek tight end Daniel Beilinson. The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder landed two more scholarships including a big one from the ACC.
"I'm up to eight offers with Wake Forest and Miami recently," he said. "Miami told me about a month ago they were going to offer and they told my coach a week ago that they have officially made the verbal offer."

What does Beilinson think of the 'Canes scholarship?
"It's a really great place with a lot of history," he said. "My parents want me to stay close, so that might be a factor, but I want to look into that too."
Beilinson confirmed plans to visit Wake Forest and NC State sometime this summer with still more visits pending.
"That's all I have right now as definites, but I'm going to keep looking around to see what other places I can go," he said. "Virginia, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame and Clemson have continued to show interest outside of the ones that have offered so far. I haven't really talked much about going to their camps though."
Previously Beilinson stated that Duke and NC State were leading, but two more schools are up there as well.
"It used to be for a long time Duke and NC State for me," he said. "With Wake Forest and Miami coming along, I'm looking into them cause they are both potentials. They really provide everything in terms of great coaching staffs and an education along with a good football team as well. They are always good to look into, but I can say Duke and NC State are still up there too."
Beilinson noted that a timeframe on a decision is still very much up in the air.
"I feel like I'll make a decision when the time is right, it might be during the summer, it might not, it's always a possibility."
