Offers keeping rolling in for soCal athlete

Just when you thought that athlete prospect Malachi Lewis (6-3, 215, 4.55) from Oxnard (Calif.) Rio Mesa couldn't get any hotter, he ends up running a 4.31 at the Ventura County Combine yesterday a performance that saw him earn six more offers.
Though the Ventura County is known for faster than usual times, Lewis was still moving.

The buzz about Lewis and what his ability brings to the table is getting louder and louder.
For good reason, too. How many guys who are just a shade under 6-foot-4 and weigh in at 215-pounds do you know who can run the 100-meter in 10.83?
Lewis recently ran a 10.83 in a league meet, and his stock has become scorching.
Since Nebraska came out of the box with his first offer it has been smooth sailing ever since.
Before yesterday's (May 17th) windfall of offers, Lewis had offers from Nebraska, Colorado, Arizona, Oregon State, Georgia Tech and Utah.
Yesterday Lewis picked up offers from BYU, Fresno State, San Diego State, Oregon and Cal.
"USC wants to see me practice one more time before they offer," Lewis said. "I am told that Michigan is on the verge of offering."
"I'm going to ride this thing out and take all five official visits before deciding," Lewis said. "I have no clear-cut favorites at this time and like I said before I'm taking it one day at a time."
