Offers keep coming for Dixon

Tuesday was busy for Bryce Dixon. He thought at least one offer was going to come through but the 2014 tight end from Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure could have never imagined three.
Ohio State, Cal and Colorado offered Dixon and the 6-foot-4, 230-pound prospect said he's thrilled his recruitment remains busy.

"I was expecting the Ohio State offer but the other two came completely randomly," Dixon said.
"I think my coach sent out some film but coaches from both schools hit me up on Facebook early this morning telling me to call them and I called each coach and they offered me."
Since it's still so early in his recruitment, Dixon does not have any favorites and he's going to research more about all three programs moving forward.
"Ohio State is a great school and they're No. 8 in the nation so that's a really good school," Dixon said. "That would be pretty good.
"I like Cal because they're close to home. One of my friends, Jalen Jefferson, goes there and he said it's a great school. If I get my degree from Cal, that would be really good.
"I'm still looking at Colorado. I'm keeping my options open. I don't know too much about Colorado yet but I look forward to learning what I can about them."
Dixon already had offers from Miami and Washington and he said Arizona could be close to offering as well. Teammate Zachary Green is committed to the Wildcats so an offer there could be big.
"I've been waiting for that one for a pretty long while," Dixon said.
This weekend is also a big milestone in his recruitment as Dixon and 2015 quarterback Ricky Town plan to take an unofficial visit to Miami. The Hurricanes have caught Dixon's attention so heading down there could be a big step.
"It's going to be really fun," Dixon said. "Ricky and I are close friends so going down to Florida is going to be a really cool trip. And I get to leave school a little bit early."
