Offers grow for Bishop McDevitt corner

Earlier this month, Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt cornerback Mike Jones claimed his first offer. Now the 6-foot-1, 200-pounder says he is up to five scholarships. Who else has sent Jones an offer?
"I know I've got offers from Miami (Ohio), Syracuse and Virginia," he said. "My coach told me about two other ones, but I'm not sure what they were.

"I visited Syracuse recently. The visit went well. I like them a lot and watched the spring game, toured the campus, checked out the dome and met coach Robinson. He came by while I was eating and it was nice. I also got to meet with one of my former teammates, Tucker Baumbach and talk to him a bit."
Jones hopes to take another unofficial visit in the near future to Pittsburgh. He is also looking at attending the Penn State Nike Camp on May 12th and the Pittsburgh summer camp.
Are there any leaders for his services at this time?
"Not really," he said. "I'm keeping my options open right now.
"I can say I'm not looking for something across the country. Obviously I want to be around my family with good academics and a program I think I could play at."
As a junior, Jones ran for 800 yards and 17 total touchdowns. He added four interceptions on defense despite playing in just six games.
