The receiver prospect was particularly interested in the offers from Wisconsin, Virginia and Vanderbilt.
"All of those schools have stuff I'm looking for," he said. "I've been waiting for schools like them and they are all good programs.
Jeffries just got back from camps at Rutgers, Maryland and Wisconsin. He liked Maryland and was surprised with the Badgers.
"Maryland has a good campus," he said. "Wisconsin wasn't what I expected at all. I figured it would be out in the open space, but it wasn't. They even said they can turn me into a great receiver like they've had in the past."
The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder is planning to make a trip in the next week or so to visit Virginia and Vanderbilt as well.
"I'll be looking for the academic support at those schools. I'll also want to see how I get along with the position coaches and how I like the head coach," he said. "Both of those schools have kept good contact with me and have shown that they want me there. That's the real draw for me in them."
After naming his leaders, Jeffries appears to be interested in getting on with the recruiting process.
"I'm going to try to make a decision before the season, but if that doesn't happen I'll try to do it after," he said. "I'm just looking to get it out of the way."
Jeffries posted just nine receptions for 230 yards receiving and five touchdowns as a junior. He added two interceptions on defense.
