Offers double for Virbitsky
Offers are beginning to mount for Jermyn (Pa.) Lakeland tight end Justin Virbitsky. The 6-foot-5, 251-pounder has doubled his offers in recent weeks and is now up to four scholarships.
"I already had offers from Buffalo and Akron and now I've got ones from Duke and Temple too," he stated. "Duke offered maybe three weeks ago and then Temple was two weeks.

"Duke is really nice. They are in the ACC and play great competition, it's also a terrific school academically that'll provide me a lot of opportunities in the future. Temple is pretty nice too. They just moved into the MAC and should be successful there."
Although he's unsure about any future offers, Virbitsky claims that Penn State, Syracuse and Virginia came by last week to check him out.
This summer the Keystone State tight end definitely will attend camps at Temple and Syracuse.
The real question is, is there a favorite for him?
"Not right now," he said. "I'm keeping all my options open and I'm undecided. A decision is too far down the line to think about, it's just nice to have the offers now."
