THE LATEST: Denton (Texas) Guyer sophomore running back Noah Cain is having a big sophomore year and that's saying something. Cain was considered an All-American by some after his freshman campaign. Cain is averaging about 140 yards and almost two touchdowns per game.
There is a baker's dozen offer total for Cain, but what's more impressive is that out of those 13 total offers 11 of them are from Power Five schools. Cain has seen a number of schools this fall already and says that he will be at a big SEC game in the coming week or so. He also has a number of other schools that he would like to see in the spring.
IN HIS WORDS: "Right now we are 7-2 and we're second in district behind Allen. I'm having a good season in my opinion. I'm at 1,270 yards and 16 touchdowns, but I am not sure about how many carries. I think my strengths are my vision, physical strength and my hands. I think I fit a pro style offense.
"I have 13 offers right now. Out of the 13 offers there are 11 of them that are from Power Five schools. I've taken visits to Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Miami so far and I'll be attending the LSU-Alabama game next week. I want to visit Nebraska, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Michigan."
RIVALS' REACTION: Cain is going to be a busy man when it comes to recruiting. The early consensus is that this will be one of if not the top running back in the state of Texas for 2019. Cain is having a solid junior year to follow up an All-American freshman campaign.
Cain will say that he has vision, strength and hands. What makes Cain really great is his yards after contact. Cain has a bowling ball quality to him and how he simply doesn't go down on initial contact.
