Offers continue to come in for Texas DE

Aldine (Texas) Eisenhower defensive end Paul Freeney continues to add scholarship offers to his list of schools.
“Everything is going well,” the 6-foot-3, 225-pound Freeney said. “I am getting calls and coaches are coming by the school. And I have several scholarship offers.”

The schools with offers extended are Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Utah.
“Nebraska was the most recent team to offer me,” he said. “I think there will be more coming before long. I’ve been talking with several schools and I think they are close to offering.”
Some of the other schools on Freeney’s list include Kansas State, TCU, Florida State and LSU.
“I have talked to coaches at both Kansas State and LSU,” he said. “Kansas State came by the school and watched some film with my coach and saw me. The others have all called.”
Freeney plans on attending the Texas A&M camp this summer.
“Right now the Texas A&M camp is the only one I know for sure,” he said. “There might be a couple others to go to, but right now, I don’t know what they would be.”
