Offers continue to come for Texas QB

Southlake (Texas) Carroll quarterback Chase Daniel picked up a couple new scholarship offers, bringing his total to 12.
“Everything has been going good,” the 6-foot, 200-pound Daniel said. “I have 12 offers now that Utah and Baylor offered me the other day.”

Daniel’s list of scholarship offers includes Duke, Maryland, Missouri, Stanford, Houston, UTEP, TCU, Oklahoma State, Colorado State, Northwestern, Baylor and Utah.
“The first couple of weeks I got a couple offers. Then five came the next week and five more the next week. It has really taken off. I’m really happy about it. It is exciting.”
Daniel continues to be open to the schools who are recruiting him.
“I am really just wide open,” Daniel said. “Texas is a school I have grown up watching, but they haven’t offered so I’m not really worrying about them anymore.”
The summer camp circuit began over the weekend for the talented Lone Star State signal caller.
“I went to the Oklahoma State camp last Sunday,” he said. “It went pretty well. I also went to TCU the day of their camp to look around some. I didn’t work out when I was there. I will be going to camps at Missouri and Stanford next week.”
Daniel is looking to make a decision this summer.
“I will make my decision sometime in July to take the pressure off of me. That will make it so I can go about my final year of high school football and not have to worry about recruiting process.”
