Offers continue to arrive for Dallas OL

Javius Townsend of Dallas (Texas) Madison is steadily seeing his offer list grow throughout the spring. Up to seven offers, Townsend's most recent two came from Buffalo and Sand Diego State.
"I just got offered by Buffalo and San Diego State," Townsend said. "It was like the whole new feeling again. I feel appreciated."

Colleges certainly appreciate Townsend, evidenced by the influx of interest throughout the spring.
"I didn't anticipate anything like this," he said. "But then again, I earned it."
With spring coming to a close and summer approaching, Townsend is taking a look at where he will be attending camps this summer and taking visits.
"A lot of people are asking me if I'm going to come to their camps," he said. "I should be going to the Oklahoma camp and the Baylor one. I should be going to the Houston one too and the SMU one."
Along with the schools that have offered Townsend, some other major programs have been showing him some interest, most notably Oregon. Last week, Townsend had the opportunity to talk to an Oregon coach on the phone and he is extremely interested in what Oregon had to say.
"That was a great conversation," he said. "That's a school that I actually want to go to. I like that they run the ball. My strength is still pass blocking but I just like that they run the ball and I like that it's cold there. I like cold weather."
