Offers continue for LB Cook

Offers are continuing to rise for Norfolk (Va.) Booker T. Washington linebacker Calvert Cook. The 5-foot-11, 216-pounder has garnered five offers and claims a leader. In addition, Cook is scheduling summer camps too.
"Richmond offered recently and that's No. 5," he said. "Right now, I'm working out and going to camps. I'm going to Nike Camp on Sunday.

"Most colleges are saying they need linebackers and I'm the one that fits their system, they are just waiting for me to take the ACT. Most schools also want me to camp."
Which camps is he going to?
"I'm going to one at Virginia Tech in June and we're going to Virginia also," he said. "We're going to Maryland, they came by and would like to see me in camp too."
Cook claims one of his offers is sticking out from the rest.
"My No. 1 right now is Western Michigan and then Richmond is right after that," he said. "Coach Gattis came by and watched practice last week and he was impressed.
"I feel like Coach Gattis and I have a really good bond together already and he seems like my coach already when I talk to him. I'm still waiting on more offers to come."
With five offers and camps coming, what is Cook looking for in a school?
"I'm looking for somewhere I know I can play at and somewhere that has good players I can learn from, I don't just want to be out there by myself. I want someone to help me out when I need help."
Amongst his offers, Cook mentioned that he's trying to visit Western Michigan and make a return trip to Richmond this summer.
