Offers continue for DT Stockton

The offers continue to come in for one of the top defensive tackles on the East Coast. Princeton (N.J.) Hun School defensive tackle Tyler Stockton pulled in two more offers in the past couple days, both from the ACC.
"I got offers from Wake Forest and North Carolina," he said. "I'm now up to seven I-A offers and I-AA.

"I'm excited about both of these scholarships. It's overwhelming how fast this is going. I'm excited and ready for it."
Stockton discussed the latest offers a bit more.
"I've visited North Carolina and like the school a lot. I think they are a program on the rise.," he said. "I went up there in early February. I liked the coaches; I had a good time there and liked the facilities. I got a chance to talk to Marvin Austin for awhile. It was very exciting to meet him. He told me to stay humble and spoke a lot about adjusting to everything in college. He gave me good advice on his experiences.
"I think Wake Forest is on the rise too. I don't know as much about Wake, but I have spoken with a coach from there and got a good vibe from him."
Stockton believes more offers could be coming soon possibly from Tennessee, Michigan State and Purdue.
Currently the 6-foot-1, 290-pounder is getting ready for spring combines.
"I'm just working out getting ready for combines. I'm not sure which ones I'll go to."
