Offers continue for CB Givens
Offers continue to come in for 6-foot-1, 178-pound cornerback Darrell Givens out of Indian Head (Md.) Lackey. The latest scholarship for Givens comes from one of the big three in Florida.
"I called Coach Hill from Miami and he told me that the paperwork is on the way," he said. "With the Miami offer I'm up to 11 scholarships."

Does the latest scholarship change anything for Givens?
"It kind of changes things a little, I like Miami and they are kind of high on my list since I've always wanted to go there since I was a little kid," he said. "I'd say they are right up there with Rutgers and Ohio State. I really like those three schools.
"I wouldn't say those are my favorites, but they've caught me eye right now."
Givens believes another scholarship could be on the way in the near future from Virginia Tech.
In the meantime, the Maryland corner is working on visits this spring.
"I know I'm going to Virginia on February 24th, Ohio State on March 9th and I've got to reschedule a visit to North Carolina. I also am going to the Nike Camp in Baltimore in April."
