Richardson (Texas) Berkner defensive tackle Trey Bryant has had a busy month of May with the evaluation period opening up.
“My phone has been ringing off the hook,” the 6-foot-2, 308-pound Bryant said. “Texas, Kansas, Tulsa, BYU and SMU are just a few of the schools that have called. It has been a busy month so far.”

The visits on the phone have produced a few scholarship offers.
“I had an early offer from Baylor,” he said. “I also have offers from Kansas, Tulsa, BYU and SMU. Texas told me they wanted to se me in their camp before they offered me.
“I am going to go to the Texas camp. I am also looking at going to Tulsa, BYU, Texas A&M and maybe Baylor.”
Bryant said the traffic by Berkner’s football office has been steady.
“We have had a lot of coaches by the school,” he said. “We have a lot of talent on our team, so schools are coming by to see them. Recently, the schools I have gotten to meet were Texas, Kansas and Kansas State, but there have been a lot of them.”
