Offers coming in for Pullom

Houston Cy Woods safety Alfred Pullom has drawn rave reviews from everybody that has seen him play. However, college coaches weren't as quick to notice his talents.
That all changed recently, though, as the 6-foot-2, 187-pound junior now holds a handful of offers. In fact, his first three all came on the same day.

"I have offers from Wake Forest, Duke, Arkansas-Pine Bluff and McNeese," Pullom said. "Last week I had three - Wake Forest, Duke and McNeese - all come in on the same day. On Monday I got the one from Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
"I've heard once I get that first one a lot more will come. I guess that was true. I've been talking to the coaches for quite some time now, especially Wake Forest and Duke, so it was nice to get those offers for sure."
Pullom could be close to another offer from a Big 12 school as well.
"I'm going to Oklahoma's camp on (June) 12 and they've been talking about offering me," he said. "They're very close to offering me but they want to see how I perform. We'll just see what happens with them."
He will also be attending camps at two other campuses over the summer.
"I'm going to UT's camp as well," Pullom said. "I'm also going to camp out at Oregon."
With the recruiting attention having just started coming for Pullom he is not ready to name favorites. However, he will take much more than just the football program into account when choosing a school.
"I'm really not sure what school I want to go to," he said. "At the end I want to make the best decision for me, not just for football, but for my career and my life. I want a school that will give me a good education because football won't last forever."
