Offers coming fast for Virginia OL

Alex Stadler is easily one of the top tackle prospects coming out of the Commonwealth in 2006 and the offers he's getting are coming fast and furious.
The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder has added eight new offers in just the last couple of weeks. While he's already had scholarships from Georgia Tech and Indiana, the Bealeton (Va.) Liberty prospect added ones from North Carolina, Bowling Green, Duke, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech.

"I'm looking at all of them right now," he said. "They are all great schools and all are great in terms of athletics.
"Offers continue to come in and I'm just hoping to get more looks come spring visitation time."
Besides receiving offers, Stadler has also received his share of information from schools as well and even recently got a call from Michigan.
"My coach got a call from Michigan and I called back and talked to their offensive line coach Andy Moeller," he said. "We talked about me getting up there and I'm definitely looking at doing that sometime soon."
Besides receiving offers, Stadler has also heard from schools including Virginia, Tennessee, Maryland, Indiana and Florida among others.
Stadler mentioned that during his spring break he plans on taking in a bunch of schools and perhaps even a southern tour through Georgia where he would go to Georgia and Georgia Tech, or he may try to make his visit to Michigan. Stadler hasn't quite decided yet, but he plans to make the trip at the end of March and the beginning of April.
Stadler also mentioned he is looking at attending the Nike Camp at Virginia Tech.
