Offers come for CB Loper

Sicklerville (N.J.) Timber Creek cornerback Eric Loper landed his first two offers in the past couple weeks. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect got both offers from the MAC and is hearing from a number of other colleges.
"I've been offered by Buffalo and Akron the past two weeks, they are both official offers," he said. "I've also talked to Villanova, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Pittsburgh and Temple.

"A lot of those schools are saying they like me on both sides of the ball, but want to wait the first few games of my senior season to see how I play and then go from there."
Obviously more offers could be coming, but what is Loper's take on his scholarships to date?
"I've looked both Akron and Buffalo up on the internet," he said. "It looks like they have nice facilities. I've been trying to touch base with the coaches. I haven't been able to reach them yet. I am planning to visit Akron and Buffalo in the next few weeks. That's my only plan right now."
The two-star prospect earned all-conference honors as a junior last season after posting 27 receptions for 324-yards and six touchdowns along with 51 tackles, six interceptions and six pass deflections.
