Offers begin to pick up for Finch

Offers are starting to pick up for Richmond (Va.) Henrico linebacker Sharif Finch. The 6-foot-4, 209-pounder picked up two more offers in the past couple weeks including a second Division I scholarship.
"I got my second and third offers," he said. "I got Hampton about two weeks ago and East Carolina on Tuesday.

"I'm really interested in East Carolina, but I'm still keeping my options open."
What intrigues Finch about the Pirates?
"I like the coaching staff," he said. "Coach Yellock sounds like good people and I like that their stadium holds about 50,000. I like the program and they've got good diversity."
To date, Finch hasn't visited East Carolina, but plans to attend camp in June.
In terms of other camps, Finch is starting to work that out.
"I'm going to Virginia's camp, Virginia Tech, Maryland and probably another two, but I'm not sure yet," he said. "NC State said they are really interested in me and want me to come to camp, as does William & Mary, but I'm not sure."
Obviously plenty of visits are coming and Finch wants to see a few things on his visits.
"I want to see how the campuses look, I want to see everything, what they have to offer education wise, diversity factor and more, that's big to me."
Does anyone stick out to Finch?
"Old Dominion really impressed me," he said. "They were the first offer and showed a commitment to me, I like that. I like the people there, they have a positive attitude."
