Offers are rolling for CB Edwards

Offers have exploded for Woodbridge (Va) Woodbridge Senior cornerback Evrett Edwards in the past week. The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder jumped from one offer to four, landing three in the past few days.
"On Wednesday Ohio offered, Thursday Boston College offered and on Friday West Virginia offered," he said. "That is four offers now in two weeks.

"It's really exciting. I prayed about it and my prayers were answered so quickly. It's amazing."
Edwards discussed the trio of new scholarships.
"Boston College is a great academic school. They play in the ACC, they play in a major conference, a BCS conference and their program is on the come up," he stated. "West Virginia year in and year out produces on the field. They are making a move to the Big 12. It's a big move from the Big East to the Big 12. It's higher competition level and I think that's just amazing that they are coming after me.
"I have a former classmate at Ohio. I don't know too much about the school, but I'm starting to do research on the school."
While offers are on the rise, Edwards has a few other colleges picking up interest.
"Duke and Wake Forest, along with Penn State, South Florida and Wisconsin are showing interest," he said. "They all really like me. I know Northwestern really likes me and wants me to come down to see their school in person. Many of them want to see me come to camp so they can evaluate my backpedal more."
Though he hasn't taken many visits recently, Edwards plans to get out very soon.
"This Saturday I'm going to Duke and then on April 13th and 14th I'm visiting Northwestern and Illinois."
